We are embracing every aspect of summer, including all the delicious seasonal fruit that’s debuting at our local markets. As an homage to one of our favorite berries, our designer Krista created these absolutely adorable strawberry treat boxes.
For a Berry Special Someone
You can use these printable strawberry treat boxes to fill with candies or other goodies for summer. Kids love surprises and presents, so why not put in 15 extra minutes to make something memorable! This could also be a fun craft for an Easter basket—and a cute, clever way to hide candy.
When you download the template below, you’ll see that the leaves have names on them. You can edit the names on the leaves using the free font Savu Condensed. This is a fun way to personalize your treat boxes and make them feel extra special.

- Printer
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Bone Folder
- Small Hole Punch
Materials
- White Cardstock
- Green Ribbon or Twine
- Glue (we used a glue dot roller)
Steps
- Gather the tools and materials listed above. Then download the PDF below.
- Print the template onto white cardstock and cut out the template.
- Score along the dotted lines using a ruler and bone folder. Fold along the lines.
- Hole punch where indicated on the template.
- Curl the strawberry flaps, leaf and top using the edge of a pair of scissors.
- Apply glue to the tab of the strawberry and stick to the opposite side.
- Weave ribbon or twine through the holes on top. Fill strawberry with treats.
- Pull tight and knot closed.
- Run ribbon through the leaf and strawberry top. Tie a bow.
- Make multiple strawberry treat boxes!
There are two color variations included in the template — bright red and fuchsia pink. We used our Canon to print so that we could stick our cardstock into the rear tray. Follow along with the photo tutorial below for visual guidance as you make your DIY treat boxes!

Lia … how do I reduce the font size? I want to say “Happy Easter!”
Hi Kathy
Unfortunately, with editable PDFs you cannot change the style or size of the font.
Made these for a church supper. Put the Fruits of the Spirit on each tag and nested them in a napkin folded as a flower. Filled with tootsie roll minis. Everyone loved them! Thank you!
Do you have any crafts that would involve high-heeled shoes? We are having as Ladies Retreat soon and would like to make favors based on our theme : if the shoe fits…own it! Thank you!
Oh what a fun theme!! Unfortunately we don’t have designs that would work for that.
I work with the sweetest 96-year-old lady. Her face will light up when I bring her a few little treats in these next week! Thanks for helping me spread happiness ?
Oh that is too sweet 🙂
Is there any chance there’s a .svg of these little darlings for fhe Cricuit?
We did create an SVG for a similar project! 🙂 https://liagriffith.com/3d-paper-strawberries/
Hi, the card you used is opaque? What weight does it have?
We used regular white cover weight copy paper 🙂
Unfortunately unclear on how to change the name with the free fonts. Is there instructions somewhere else? Cute project.
Hi Jodi, you’ll need to download and install the font first (click the link that says Savu Condensed). Then when you open the PDF, you’ll be able to edit the names in the correct font as shown.
Thank you. Got it!
buna ziua, ideea este super, multumesc frumos ca impartasiti cu noi aceasta…….felicitari
