Have Some Seasonal Touches on Hand

Swapping out your everyday decor with some seasonal items is an easy way to get in the holiday spirit. For example, you can switch out your pillows and artwork, replace your paper flowers with new ones for the season, and put up new decorations. Another thing to consider is your holiday table — especially if you are hosting. Every year, I like to get creative with what goes on my Thanksgiving table and do something a little different.

Because I love saffron, I chose a mustardy saffron fabric for the linens. While this color is seasonal on its own, I went a step further and ironed on our Thanksgiving SVG designs. Then I alternated the napkins on my table so every other place setting says the word grateful or thankful.

Along with the grateful SVG and thankful SVG cut files, you’ll find a leaf pattern you can cut on vinyl and use as glass decals. This little detail will add a more festive feel to your Thanksgiving table. And it is so easy to do!

Instructions

  1. Download the SVG file or PDF template below.
  2. If using a cutting machine to cut the words “grateful” and “thankful,” don’t forget to mirror the image! Then cut the leaf decals for your glassware.
  3. Use your EasyPress or Iron to apply the words to your napkins. Apply the decals by hand, and arrange leaves in the same direction.
