I’m a newbie and excited to dig into your files. I’m also a little confused about the wire in this project. In your illustration, it is very subtle, but if I were to add my floral wire (which is a darker green), it would stand out. Should I be able to find a wire that is that same shade of light green? Thanks!
Hi Joni, welcome! We used a white wire for this, so it blends in with the green vellum paper better. So I would either use a darker green paper or a lighter wire if you can 🙂
Hi Lia!! Any other ideas on where to get translucent vellum?
Hi Rebecca, here is a link for where you can purchase the translucent vellum! https://www.thepapermillstore.com/glama-natural-pastel-green-paper-8-1-2-x-11-in-27-lb-bond-translucent-vellum-500-per-ream.html
The instructions didn’t seem too clear to me when gluing the wire to the eucalyptus
Hi Kathy! We’d love to help– what part is confusing?
I went to Paper Papers for the translucent vellum Leaf they only had card stock in Leaf. I’m I looking for the wrong product.
It must be out of stock! Here’s a great replacement: https://www.createforless.com/Paper-Accents-Vellum-8-1/2-x-11-in.-937-Light-Green/pid49412.aspx
Thank you!
Hey Lia! I’m having a hard time getting this to cut all the way through on my machine. What settings do you use for vellum? I bought the exact one you use.
I’ve had most success setting it to Cardstock– but do a test cut first because it could rip the vellum, and then you may need to dial it down a bit.
Hi Lia, I have a new cricut machine !!! I would love to cut out your Vellum Eucalyptus plant on my machine, how do I do this. kind regards Jos McCormack.
