Leave a CommentWhat happened to the other peony that was very similar to this one?? I came on to make it and itβs gone. Thanks!
Ooooh! I am actually updating it right now, and we are going to film a full video. Can you wait until March 1st or do you need it today?
I can wait! Itβs my favorite flower on your whole site! I made this peony and I just donβt like it as much. Thanks!
I am even giving this one a slight upgrade. Not changing the template, just a few additions to the steps. π
Design files don’t seem to work on my Mac. I loaded the Cricut design space on my old windows 10 machine and it worked without a problem.
Can you tell me what is happening and what it is telling you? Have you unzipped the SVGs before trying to upload?
Hello, am trying to print the SVG Locked files on my Maker 4. It will not let me print the files unless I use a 12×24 mat which I do not have. It apperas that these are all sized for a 12×12. Any suggestions for what I might be doing wrong? When I try to choose the 12×12 mat in the drop down file, it either does not appear. or when I choose it and load the mat, it rejects it and says I need a 12×24. Thanks! I love bding a member and learn so much from your videos.
I just tested the files, and it looks like a Cricut update required a small workaround. I updated these files, so they should work now. Let me know if you are still having trouble, and thanks for letting me know. π
Aloha Lia, You mentioned in the video that you sometimes hold the long stem in your mouth while assembling the petals. I wanted to share a tool from my husband’s DIY lab called the “third hand”βit’s been very helpful for me. I also found a product link from Michaels if you’re interested in giving it a try. https://www.michaels.com/product/beadalon-third-hand-with-magnifier-D696242S
Brilliant! I am going to look into that. π
Would foam balls work in lieu of spunnies? If so, would you use hot glue or the barely glue to secure the wires thank you.
Yes, we have switched to Spunnys and no longer use foam. Yay! And Bearly Art Glue does work great to secure.
Can I purchase the template for the Coral Supreme Peony?
At this point, the best way (and the most cost-effective) is to purchase a monthly membership for $14.99. You can cancel at any time.
Hi I’m a new member and am learning how to use the site. How do I find the templates for each corresponding craft project? I see where it says Templates & Tutorials above the Tools section. Is there a way to download to an iPad?
Thanks,
Isabel
Yes, you can download the files onto your iPad. We do not have one handy here to test, but here is an article from Apple. https://support.apple.com/en-us/102440
Loved this tutorial. It was very detailed.
Thanks for the feedback! We are always trying to improve to make it easier (and more fun) for you. π
