Paper_Rose_Bouquet_Book_PagesToday we are doing a bit of a flash back, both by using vintage books to make book page flowers and because this paper rose pattern is my very first paper flower I designed for all of you. It is an oldie but goodie, don’t you think? I remember the days back then when I cut hundreds if not thousands of petals all by hand where now days I use my handy Circut Explore to do the cutting and keep the making to the curling and shaping of the flowers themselves.

For these vintage book roses, I actually printed my book pages since the fragile old papers do not do so well with the sticky mat of the cutting machine. You can download our book page prints below and use your inkjet or a laser printer to cover both sides of your text weight white paper. They are now ready to either cut by hand or for your cutting machine. You will also find a PDF template and the SVG for the cutting machine below. The PDF can be printed onto card stock and used to outline on your old book pages. For the full step-by-step video tutorial check here, and a photo tutorial on how to make these easy and gorgeous roses, you can pop over to this post. Make sure and come back later today for your chance to win a Lia Griffith Bundle Teal Cricut Explore. Cheers! ~ Lia
