Become a MemberCute alert! These adorable felt finger puppets make a great handmade gift for the little ones this winter season. Or you can get the kids involved in making their own winter animal finger puppets during the Holiday break. Our DIY download offers three different felt finger puppet patterns – a cute penguin, a gorgeous polar bear and a pretty deer. The patterns include all the pieces you need to make each animal finger puppet. The only other materials you will need is a little embroidery thread and six little black beads for their eyes – you can shop this project below! Our finger puppets are assembled using a low temperature glue gun and a little simple blanket stitching. Help for the hand-crafter who can’t handle technology! What software program are we using to open the SVG files? My understanding was that these are used for the Cricut in order to precut pieces, but my computer is not recognizing these files.
Hello Desiree! Your computer will not know what to do with the SVG files, but the Cricut software will. 🙂 We have a little workshop that shows how to manage these files with the Cricut that you might find really helpful. Here is the link: https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/tracks/a-crafters-guide-to-the-cricut-maker/
How can I got the puppet paper so that I can make one of those puppets
Hi Jia,
You must download the PDF pattern for this project, it is located at the bottom of the post 🙂
I guess I don’t know exactly how to download the pattern… I have logged in and found a project I am interested in. When I try to download the instructions, a log in window opens. I have logged in several times and still can not download the instructions. What am I doing wrong?

That’s strange! Please send an email to hello@liagriffith.com so we can look into your account.
I’d love to start working up some of your winter animals for the Holidays. Could you upload the SVG file? Thank you thank you!
Added the SVG download for this project, too.
I’m new to your site and I love it! Do I have to pay for a membership AND pay for each individual download? Thanks!
Welcome, Kayla! No, your membership gives you access to all our downloads, patterns and templates on the site. There are some occasional sponsored posts and projects on the site that have extra costs associated, but we keep those to a minimum 🙂
Think of all the spectacular projects you and team do these little critters are by far my favorites, so sweet.
Simple looking to make also if certain person would just get materials out and start them. Guess have gotten lazy in last 4 weeks. Sure know I get tired out so darned quickly, hate that. Is it age or surgery? Both am thinking, doggone it. Have so much want/need to do but energy level dissipates in nothing flat, very annoying. All I did was put Christmas decorations in couple cardboard boxes I found and am deflated like an old balloon, bummer.
Hope you all have kept your energy levels up so you can keep creating these incredible projects.
Happy week
Have to go visit outpatient physical therapy clinic so better get my old buns moving.
So glad to hear you like them. Take it easy while you are recovering! We are going to be doing lots more little critters in future 😉
