Winter Greens and Pink Berry Wreath
Happy Hollydays
Last week I shared some ideas for how to decorate for the holiday season with our Scandinavian-inspired paper houses. You can find the SVG files for those paper house crafts and today's project in my new book, Cutting Machine Crafts. Since I like to create some wreath options for the winter season that aren't overly Christmasy, this is what inspired my winter greens and pink berry wreath. So if you're looking for a wreath you can hang on your door for the holidays and leave out past Christmas, this one would be a great option for you. Or you could also switch out your more traditional wreath with this DIY idea once Christmas is over.

The holly and berries are what give this wreath a festive, holiday feel. But instead of using the more traditional red berries, I made them pink. Since holly berries are poisonous, it's best to make them out of paper—especially if you're using them as indoor decorations.
I personally love using wreaths indoors as well as on my front door. If you typically use wreaths as door decorations, I'm here to encourage you to get more creative with them! This winter greens and pink berry wreath would look wonderful on your window, wall, mantel, or even another door in your home.
You can find similar styles of wreaths with the printable pattern and the cut files for your cutting machine in this post for the Merry and Bright Paper Holiday Wreath or this traditional Frosted Paper Christmas Wreath.
For more holiday DIY inspiration, make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Also, whether you craft this wreath using the same colors or different ones, I'd love to see how it turns out! An easy way for me to spot your DIY creations is for you to use the hashtag #MadeWithLia when you post pictures on Instagram. Happy holiday crafting! ~ Lia and team

Back to the TopI am sooooo in love with your creative spirit and your simple, yet elegant work of art/craft. I am truly inspired. I’m an early childhood educator from the Caribbean island of Antigua. Daily, I try to incoporate arts and craft in all of my lessons so that my students can be stimulated in the area of creativity and develop a sense of appreciation for the arts and crafts since our school doesn’t have an art/craft program. I hope to open my own paper flower business next year.
Thank you so much, this means a lot to hear. I love that you incorporate arts & crafts into your lessons– of course I agree that it’s so important!
Thanks for the recent SVGs suitable for the Explore machines. The crepe flowers and the other Maker projects are lovely, but it’s nice to know you keep us Explore users in mind too.
Oh yes! We started with the Explore and know not everyone has (or wants) a Maker.
