AnchorCard2Mother’s Day has come and gone, which means that it is time to celebrate Father’s Day! This year the occasion falls on June 19th. There are so many ways to celebrate Dad, but no matter the plan, it usually involves a Father’s Day card. We designed this super cute card to show Dad how much you care!

Dads teach us a lot. My dad was a skilled maker (he even built our house!), and he certainly taught my sisters and me to use our creative sides. I am thankful that he encouraged us to become makers in our own right, because who knows if this website would have existed if it weren’t for the DIY prowess in my genes! This Father’s Day card has a beautiful blue color scheme with a sentimental message that expresses the gratitude that good dads deserve. Because the message reads “You Are My Anchor”, the card features a nautical design complete with the wheel of a ship. To use this card for Father’s Day, begin by downloading the PDF below. Print onto 8.5 x 11 white card stock, trim to size, and fold in half. When the card is trimmed, it is a standard A7 size. The inside of the card is blank to give room for Father’s Day messages of all kinds. Below you will also find the download for our nautical envelope liner. Print this envelope liner onto regular copy paper and glue it into an A7 envelope. We paired our Father’s Day card with a kraft envelope. You should be able to find a nice selection of A7 envelopes at your local stationery store.

Check out our pocket square Father’s Day card from last year for a cute alternative to this nautical theme. And stay tuned for plenty more Father’s Day projects to come! And don’t hesitate to write in with project ideas and photos of your makes! I can’t wait to see what you come up with! ~ Lia
