Hi friends!
I bought a bunch of tissue paper (Rookie mistake). I am wondering if I can use regular tissue paper, and fold it over- having the fold on the outside so the bottom where the glue will go would be the open part…
Would this work, or should I sell my paper tissue collection to buy the crepe paper?
Hi! Unfortunately the crepe paper patterns won’t work with other types of paper. We do have quite a few tissue paper projects though! https://liagriffith.com/?s=tissue+paper&post_type=post, https://liagriffith.com/craft/all-paper-flowers/tissue-paper-flowers/
Thank you so much!
I am having trouble with the heavy crepe paper staying stuck to my new standard grip mat. I am using the Maker. What advice do you have for cutting the heavy weight paper and getting it to stay stuck while cutting?
We like to use a Fabric grip mat, and press the paper firmly into the mat using a brayer or scraper tool. We’re filming a YouTube Live this Friday specifically with our tips & tricks for using the Maker, you should tune in! https://youtu.be/hA0-YsIG4pQ
Lia, I’m sorry I simply cannot find it still. Is this page on which these emails appear what you are calling “the post”? There is no link at the very bottom, from the top I see your written instructions, then your three click and download links, then related posts ( 3 images) then tags. Can you tell me the exact name of the link? Perhaps I can find it then.
Thanks
The photo tutorial is on the web page of the project (https://liagriffith.com/heavy-crepe-paper-peonies/). The photo tutorial is just in the body of the web page, not a download. There is a written instruction version only (no photos) available in the downloads.
Lia, great news! I see tons of your photo tutorials on your Pinterest page including the one I’ve been looking for. I don’t know but you might actually have all of them there. I am one happy flower-making camper. <3

That’s great Belinda, glad you found what you need 🙂
How do I find the photo tutorial for the heavy crepe paper peonies?
Hi Belinda, the photo tutorial is at the bottom of the post.

This is what I see when I chose the SVG download. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Emily! Can you email a screenshot to hello@liagriffith.com so we can help you better?
Can individual SVG files be purchased without becoming a member?
Hi Judy! Unfortunately we don’t have the capability to sell our projects individually, but you can always sign up for a membership then cancel at anytime.
