Pocket Pets
I can’t think of anything cuter than a little felt friend that fits right in your pocket. This next project delivers big fun in a tiny package–perfect for both big and junior crafters. Our Felt Spring Pet Pocket Pals make a unique, handmade treasure to tuck into an Easter basket or a sweet gift for any occasion. These mini stuffies are a charming remake of a longtime favorite, now updated with miniature tulip-shaped pockets to welcome spring’s arrival.

This project sits comfortably between beginner and intermediate. If you’re new to felt-craft and stuffie construction, these Felt Spring Pet Pocket Pals are a great place to start. However, if you’ve made stuffies before, then you’ll enjoy refining your embroidery and assembling the layered details. As with all of our felt animal projects, we recommend cutting the pattern by hand with a pair of sharp scissors for the cleanest edges. We’ve also included an SVG file if you’d prefer to use your cutting machine instead.
Additionally, to make assembly even smoother, a dab of tacky glue can help steady small pieces before sewing. What these Felt Spring Pet Pocket Pals lack in size, they more than make up in personality. Each little friend features softly stitched details, simple embroidered accents, and a teeny tulip pocket stitched right onto their outfit. Once complete, your new little friends are ready for Easter Egg Hunts and other springtime adventures ahead.
Once your Felt Spring Pocket Pals are stitched and ready for their debut, share them with us in the crafters’ community and on social using #MadeWithLia.

Back to the TopMarch’s projects are so amazing! Will the clothing on these mini friends be about the same size to i can dress up the Koala or the other Mini felt friends?
We use the same body template for all of the pocket pals, so things should mix and match.
How tall are these adorable animals? I was wondering if they would fit inside the altoid tins? Thanks!
Hi Pam! These are approximately 4-5 inches long top to bottom, so it might be a tight squeeze for inside of an Altoids tin, but they are flexible so you might be able to fold up the arms and legs to make them fit.
You can also always adjust the size of the pattern with the SVG file, or by trimming down the PDF version by adjusting your zoom when you print. We hope this helps!

I love these, thank you. I’m so excited to make these little friends for my granddaughters!😄
Oh they’ll love it!
