If you’re creating a “camping at home” adventure for your family, we think these felt waffles are a great addition. While you’re cooking up some breakfast the next morning, they can make their own waffles and choose their toppings. Along with the waffles, we also have some fun felt coffee and hot cocoa creations and more felt breakfast foods. Plus you can’t forget the felt utensils and cookware!

When you’re ready to make these felt waffles, we recommend cutting the patterns by hand with detail scissors for a more precise cut. However, if you want to use your Cricut Maker or Silhouette Cameo 4, you can download our SVG file and use the rotary blade to cut your felt pieces.

How to Make Felt Waffles

  1. Gather your craft tools and materials. Then download the pattern above.
  2. Cut out felt according to the pattern using scissors (recommended) or a Cricut Maker (optional).
  3. Using your PDF template as a guide, draw the first three lines on your largest felt waffle piece using a disappearing ink pen. You can also go by the measurements on the PDF for even more accuracy.
  4. Fold the felt in half along the middle line and pin in place. Using one strand of matching embroidery floss, sew a double running stitch following the bottom lines. You should have a solid stitched line that looks identical on both sides of the folded felt.
