Craft Challenge: Painterly Icelandic Poppy Flower
Nothing says summer quite like "poppy." (Even if "Iceland" doesn't scream sunshine and flowers.) Their transparent petals catch the light and are a perfect bloom for our extra fine crepe paper. For this month's Member Make Challenge, I showed advanced techniques I've been experimenting with. Follow the YouTube video as I guide you through making this stunning and colorful flower. Put your spin on the project by choosing different colors, adding your personal touch, or creating a bright bouquet of them!

Can you use pan pastel for the fringe?
Yes! You could set it with a fixative spray so it doesn’t rub off when handling it (https://www.amazon.com/Krylon-K01305-Coatings-11-Ounce-UV-Resistant/dp/B00397STRW/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=fixative+spray&qid=1564682397&s=gateway&sr=8-3)
Hi Lia, I need your help! When I glue the petals on the base/stamen, the flower is really closed😥 What did I do wrong?🤔 I have a picture of of but I don’t know how to send it to you😁
