Become a MemberThis wedding invitation suite is great for couples looking for simple invitations with a classic wedding color scheme and pretty floral accents. It also helps if you own a Cricut cutting machine! We designed these papercut wedding invitations in a collaboration with Cricut, and all of the SVG files in this suite can be found in Cricut Design Space. Each paper good includes a matching papercut backing to give it a gorgeous floral touch. Here you will find the blush painted paper goods to pair with your papercut accents. Our papercut wedding invitations include an invitation, RSVP card, details card, and envelope liner.
To use this invitation suite, download each PDF below and then install the free fonts Antonio Bold and Majesti Banner. Use Antonio Bold to edit the capitalized names on the invitation, and use Majesti Banner to customize the details on each card. The script font on the paper goods is the only text that is not editable. The RSVP card and details card both measure 5 x 3 and have corresponding SVG papercut backings. The 5 x 7 invitation has a lovely papercut overlay with an oval frame featuring floral detailing. The RSVP and details cards have backings with the same floral detailing along the top edge.
Once you have edited your paper goods, you can print them onto 8.5 x 11 white card stock. For the papercut portion of these papercut wedding invitations, we used text weight metallic paper in a shimmery white (see Shop this Project!). Use glue to attach your paper goods to the papercut backings. After your invitation suite is ready, pick out an A2 envelope so that your guests can mail their RSVP cards, and stick the entire suite into an A7 envelope. We found our beautiful frosted envelopes from Paper-Papers, the same place that we buy our metallic papers. Our corresponding SVG files also include a papercut envelope liner to add to your envelopes. Cut these onto metallic text weight paper, and then glue them inside the envelopes before adding your invitation suite.
As Design Space users, you know that the files default to a smaller size when opening the SVGs. Here is a sizing guide to make sure that everything cuts properly! The invitation overlay is 10 x 7″ (and folds to 5 inches wide), the papercut backings for the RSVP and details cards measure 5.5 x 4.25″, and the envelope liner should be sized to 7 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall.
If you do not have a cutting machine, not to worry! The downloads below also include this blush painted invitation suite in standard sizes that do not require the papercut detailing. The invitations are the same size, but the RSVP and details cards are slightly larger. You will still need an A7 envelope and A2 envelope for these sizes, and there is also a printable envelope liner to pair with them. So you can use this suite with the Cricut files, or you can simply use the standard sized paper goods by themselves! Stay tuned for a matching wedding program, menu, and other decorative goodies to bring the blush color scheme into your big day. Browse all of our DIY wedding projects and head to our membership page to start downloading our paper goods. See you soon! ~ Lia

Hello for the RSVP is there a way I can add the section that says “We have reserved ___ seat(s) in your honour”? Thank you
You can use the row of text under the RSVP or one of the three lines of copy below. All of the text is editable but the lines to the left are part of the design.
How do you download the printable invitation, RSVP, and detail cards. I don’t have a membership to your site, however, I do have a Cricut. I would love to use this invitation, but just need the printable cards. Thank you, D
Hi Donna! This was a collaboration with Cricut, so the SVG cut files are available for Cricut members, and printables available for Lia Griffith members. Since we can’t offer single downloads at this time, you can sign up for a monthly membership then cancel when you have downloaded what you need.
Hi – This is a lovely design!
I just wanted to confirm one thing before I purchase the membership to download these designs. I know that the SVGs are only available in the Critcut store, but do the PDF files also include the cutout design? I am planning to use my Silhouette designer edition to import the designs from PDF file.
Thank you
Hi Haley! Unfortunately no, this project was sponsored by Cricut so the paper cut part of the design is only available on their site. The PDF on our site is only the editable invitation & inserts (the printed part). We do have this pretty papercut invite on our site that could be made with a Silhouette! https://liagriffith.com/spring-blossom-printable-wedding-invitations/
Hi there,
I downloaded both fonts and when I am editing the invitation they are switching the font back to Arial. I have no idea how to change this! Please help!
Hi Jessica, that’s what happens when the fonts aren’t installed properly. Make sure they’re installed after you downloaded.
I am having problems with the rsvp card. With the backer attached, I can only fit it in an envelope the same size as the invitation. This isn’t working out well for mailing them together. What am i doing wrong.
Hi Amy! The backer card should be no more than 5.5″ wide, which will fit into an A2 envelope (the standard size is 5.75″ wide).
What kind of glue is best to use for this?
We like to use Scotch glue dot rollers for flat projects like these.
HI,
I see you have pdf files, do you have to go into the cricut design space and buy the files to use with the cricut machine?
Yes, we mention in the post that this was a sponsored post commissioned by Cricut, so these specific SVG files are available in Design Space 🙂
I have been trying for a while now to figure out how to print the pdf then get my cricut explore to cut them. I have searched how to do it, but I haven’t come up with any satisfactory results. I can’t upload pdf files to Design Space (or at least I haven’t figured out how yet…). Could you please please please help me? I can usually figure this stuff out, but I’m stumped! Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately, you cannot upload and cut PDF files on the Cricut so you will need to cut those by hand. We recommend using a paper cutter or ruler with X-acto blade.
I need clarification. The stardream metallic paper in crystal was used for all the cricut cuts? The onyx envelope was purchased as an A7 envelope. I am looking for a grey/ or blue/ grey envelope to substitute. Can these be made from another stardream metallic paper? The nude metallic paper is curious? Were the liners and envelopes made from those papers? Were the watercolor papers printed from your template? Can you do it on an inkjet printer? What settings were used on the cricut explore to cut the liners, envelopes and backings to the invites? I am trying to order sample papers and envelopes (if needed unless I can cut them from paper) for wedding invites and want to be sure I order everything I need. The invites are beautiful. Excuse all my questions. This is my first time using the templates
Hi Maureen– you can use whatever paper colors and combination you’d like to customize! We printed the watercolor invitation, RSVP, details on regular white cardstock paper on a laser printer, but an inkjet is fine. The light pink paper in the photos is Curious Metallic Nude, the white is Stardream Metallic Crystal, and the dark gray/blue is Stardream Metallic Onyx. The liners are Text weight paper, and cut them using the Light Cardstock setting on the Cricut. The invitation cover and backer for the RSVP and Details cards is Cover weight, and I used the Cardstock setting. Hope that helps 🙂
Please provide weight in lbs for the envelope liners and then weight in lb for the backers and the invite cover. I am ordering from LCI the onyx stardream metallic cardstock and metallic galvanized curious cardstock and they use lbs not text weight or cover weight. The invites are starting to come together for me and looking great. I just want to order what worked best on the cricut for you.
I’m so glad to hear your invitations are coming together so nicely! The paper we used for the liners AND invitation cover is 81lb Text. You could use an 80lb Cover weight for the cover if you wanted something thicker– ours just cut better on thinner paper. The backers were 105lb Cover.
Could you please tell me where to find the Thank You fan (for Guests), Menu and alternate invite printables as shown on the Cricut site?

Hi!
Just wondering what Cricut Cartridge was used… the name of the cartridge?
Thanks so much! 🙂
The papercut wedding suite is not a cartridge, but if you follow the link in the post you can find it on Design Space!
How would I be able to resize the RSVP card? We wanted to make it smaller, and now I have no clue how to resize it. Help please!
Hi Roxanne, unfortunately there isn’t an option to resize the card. But there are two options available to download– one is 5.5×4.25 (A2), and the second was set up for the Cricut cartridge but can be used on its own and is 5×3 (which is a bit smaller but would fit a 4bar envelope).
why do I have to purchase the Cricut SVG files? I own a different brand of paper cutting machine plus pay the monthly subscription to your site, shouldn’t it all be included?.
Thanks
K.
Hi Katherine, this project was a collaboration with Cricut specifically as an exclusive for Design Space. The vast majority of our downloads are available for all members, but there are a few instances like this where some members won’t be able to access the entire project. This is why we designed the printables, so at least there is something for everyone!
