Become a MemberWhen my friend Lisa asked me to design some supergirl invitations and printables for her daughter Maddie’s 7th birthday it was an immediate YES! You may remember Lisa as the “Super Crafter” from the Farm Party post and the Fourth of July Party post. Well, she has also started her new blog Handcrafted Parties that you will want to go check it out. Honestly, I love the idea of empowering our young girls with the message of being super because they truly are and every girl who grows up knowing that, adds to our building a better world.
I designed the little super character after Maddie herself, and once done decided to include some other super friends with different looks. The printable includes a star pattern for the back of the invite along with the purple chevron envelope liner. There are 6 girls to choose from to resemble your little supergirl. Be sure to download the free fonts Mathlete and Komika Title, and once these are installed just open the PDF in Acrobat and type in your super name and party details. Stay tuned for the rest of the party kit and a free super printable next week. Cheers! ~ Lia

I cant find the printable on this invitation as well as the envelope? Can you help? 3.10.17 -Emily
Hi Emily, I just added them to this post 🙂
Wow!!! I know some girls (big and small!) who would just love these!
Oh fun!
P.S.–Did you end up breaking out your Silhouette for the girl figurines? Now I’m kicking myself for not taking you up on that. 🙂
I did, but had some trouble getting it to line up perfectly. I need to work on it.
You know I’m in LOVE with these, Lia! The whole set is amazingly darling and I can’t wait to see it all put together. (I’ve been on a late-night cutting spree for the last 2 nights…hee hee) The girls in Maddie’s class thought these invites were SO COOL. You’re hitting it big with the 1st grade crowd. 🙂
Thanks for the lovely shout-out, too. You’ve been a great inspiration and cheerleader for me starting my own blog. I’m always learning from you and dreaming right along side you, my friend!
See you on Sunday for more party goodness,
Lisa 🙂
