We love the look of honeycomb paper decorations for nearly every occasion, and the beautiful layers and soft folds of these Cardstock Honeycomb Trees bring back all the joy and nostalgia of holidays gone by. Light and airy with a stunning architectural feel, these trees make gorgeous tabletop décor, mantel accents, or the start of a gorgeous winter wonderland. This project is part of our Crafty Wonderland 2025 LIVE Holiday Workshop Series, and we’re so excited for you to craft along with us!

- Cricut Maker or Silhouette Cameo 4
- Kai 8" Scissors
- Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue - 2oz
- Clover Sewing Clips
- A box with 90 degree angles (optional)
Materials
- Lia Griffith Frosted Cardstock – Pine Forest, Aquamarine, and Aquatint (Small Tree: 3 sheets, Medium Tree: 3 sheets, Large Tree: 5 sheets)
- Any text weight paper, we used printer paper

As part of our series, we’re inviting you to slow down and enjoy some quality crafting time with us. Join Lia and Meagan on Wednesday, November 19 — noon PT — to make these charming Cardstock Honeycomb Trees and our Winter Village House. Together, these projects showcase everything we love about paper craft and the satisfaction found in creative fellowship.
First, you’ll start with flat pieces of cardstock to build your tree layer by layer until it opens into a beautiful honeycomb shape. You can use classic green for a fresh-cut pine look, or natural cardstock for a more rustic feel. However you dress them up, each Cardstock Honeycomb Tree turns out beautifully and easily incorporates into your holiday decor.
