Good news! This is a very beginner-friendly project — low risk, high reward. These lovely Cherry Blossom Treat Boxes in blushing shades of pink fold and easily assemble using just a few tools and materials. And guess what? We’ve included a video tutorial so we can cut, fold, and glue right along with you!
The tradition of exchanging little gifts on February 14th is all about showing appreciation and affection. These heartfelt and handmade Cherry Blossom Treat Boxes take that sentiment to the next level. Fill them with chocolates, candy, or homemade gifts, and watch your loved ones glow under the warmth of your thoughtfulness. Also, the cherry blossom design brings a fresh, romantic touch, turning any treat — chocolates, candies, or homemade goodies — into something extra thoughtful and stunning.
Creating these charming little boxes involves folding and assembling paper in a way that highlights the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms. You'll use tools like a petal shaper to create the gentle curves and subtle details of the petals to add a unique touch, elevating paper into art. In our video workshop, we’ll guide you through the techniques that add a personal and artistic element to your gift-giving.
Once your Cherry Blossom Treat Boxes are complete, you can use them for more than just Valentine’s Day — birthdays, bridal showers, or any occasion that calls for a delicate, homemade touch. But as always, we love seeing our designs come to life in your talented hands, so don’t forget to share your success in our crafters’ community or on Instagram with the hashtag #MadeWithLia.

No matter what I do I can’t add the score lines to the basic cut. They come out all wonky??
I think I fixed the file. The box layer and the score layer are combined into one group now. Bring the file into Design Space, ungroup the file, open the top layer to select the score lines then set to score and attach those two layers. This should keep the score and the cut for the box aligned.
