Thank you Lia! I just purchased a Cricut Maker after having the Explore Air 2 for 3 years. Your lesson helped me figure out what additional blades I might need to buy. I won’t revive the machine until next week but then I will make some of your projects that I can share.
That is partially true, but not really true. It does not require a mat for the Cricut branded “smart materials”. These are Cricut’s own heat transfer vinyl, decal vinyl, and label paper. I feel they are doing a disservice by letting people think this machine is matless. For anything that does not have a backer, like paper, felt, crepe paper, you will still need a mat.
Good Morning
All three links outdates. Circut just gives you and error message and the Silhouette 4 link is now to a site called swing design. It has all makes models and accessories in one site. I have not used it but it looks interesting in all is in one web site.

Congratulations!! If you have not watched this mini-course yet… Be sure to take our Skill Course for the Maker. It is fun and has cheat sheets and a workbook to access anytime 🙂 https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/a-crafters-guide-to-the-cricut-maker/
Maker 3 doesn’t require mat, is there any tip to put the paper?

Is the Cricut Maker 3 an updated machine from the Cricut Maker?
It is the newer version, yes.
