I love all the colorful paper flowers we typically craft here at Lia Griffith, but I’m also a big fan of the simple greenery we sometimes feature. Our Crepe Paper Amaranth Green Tails, while stunning on their own, would make a gorgeous addition to any of your floral centerpieces. This dramatic green flower is a first for us, but we’re thrilled to add it to the collection.

Although this plant looks very detailed, it’s actually quite simple to make once you’ve mastered your fringing skills! Take a look at our list of tools and materials below to get started on your amaranth flowers.

Amazing Amaranth

Known for their cascading ropes of flowers, amaranth green tails are a bold addition to any garden or landscape, and in some varieties, the leaves are harvested to eat! The long, heavy flower clusters create a bit of movement to your floral arrangement, and their unique texture adds a level of visual interest. The Amaranth also comes in a beautiful burgundy color, so that might be fun to explore as well. A mix of both colors would be so pretty, so don’t be afraid to get creative.

Did you let your amaranth be the star of the show, or did you pair it with a few bright blooms for a bold centerpiece? We’d love to see how you styled this fun project, so be sure to share your photos with us on Instagram with the hashtag #MadeWithLia or in our crafters’ community.
