Don't worry if you're new to crafting, these Crepe Paper Forsythia Branches are designed to be a fun challenge for beginners. And for our more experienced crafters, it's a great opportunity to showcase your skills. Crafting a whole branch might take a little time, but the end result is a testament to your creativity. So, let's get started! Once you're ready to begin, check out our tools and materials and join us in the tutorial.
Though we've never featured Forsythia before, we love its backstory and its message of hope in this new season. Forsythia, or "golden bells," is one of the toughest flowering shrubs in the game. These little troopers are among the very first to bloom in the springtime β even braving the threat of late-season frosts. According to some legends, once forsythia flowers begin to appear, winter is almost truly over, and it's time to prepare for Spring. Additionally, its buttery yellow color makes it a great addition to your indoor decor from Spring through fall.
Once your blooms are complete, then comes the fun part! Display them on their own in a bud vase for a pop of sunshine on your windowsill, or create a whole forsythia bush by arranging them in a larger vase. They also make stunning additions to spring wreaths or centerpieces, adding a touch of springtime whimsy to your home dΓ©cor.
So, are you ready to embrace the vibrant spirit of Spring? We can't wait to see your sunshine-filled creations! Remember to share your finished Crepe Paper Forsythia Branches in our crafting community or on Instagram using the hashtag #MadeWithLia.

Is there a video tutorial on putting together a branch? I’m better at copying rather than making it up by myself. Love this and am in the process of making them.
Hi Dottie! This would be a good video for sure. We do not at this time, but the photo tutorial gives some details on how to form the branch.
Yay!! I canβt wait to try this. I love forsythia!
It adds such a glow to the arrangement. π
I love forsythia, simply because it means spring is here! All those tiny petals and leaves look a little daunting, but I’m going to make it anyway. π That bright yellow is just so cheerful!
I think they are so worth it! A big color punch with little teeny flowers. π
