That is a retired template as it requires the long crepe paper and we no longer carry that due to shipping costs. We will have some new kits coming next month. Can heavy crepe paper be used?
Sure.
Should we cut the card stock pieces out of any particular colour card stock ?
I would stick to a neutral color or something that matches the green crepe. I used a kraft color.

Why can we not cut it on the cutting machine. I have a 24 in mat
When you see the video, you will see my technique that cuts through the whole fold. Trust me, you will appreciate not having the fuss of cutting these on the Cricut. If you try to cut on the machine you will not have enough petals.
I am thinking of doing these in Aubergine or Sangria – would you recommend the same center colors?
That will be gorgeous! I would use the chiffon and fern with the darker petals.
