We were all practically squealing when we saw these crepe paper mini vegetables that Emily made for this month’s craft collection. I think we can all agree that miniature objects are always adorable. And these little creations fit in perfectly with our garden theme.
Since all of the veggie shapes are simple to cut by hand, you can use your scissors for this project. Or, if you prefer to use your Maker or Cameo 4, just download our SVG file.
Lettuce make all the cute crafts
Ready to get started? Altogether our pattern includes five different crepe paper mini vegetables. And our video tutorial below will show you how to make each one.

Crafting tip: The trickiest part of this DIY project is gluing everything down around the spun cotton balls and eggs. Be generous with your glue, and if the edges aren’t all glued down, don’t worry. Just use a bit of Mod Podge under the edges and paint it down. You can also wear gloves if you don’t want to get your fingers stained.

What size cotton ball is used for the small head of lettuce? The large is 58 mm.
We used a 30mm round for the small lettuce.
