Crafting tips: For the stem pieces, place the hot glue on the ball, and then press the stem in with your nail to get it as tightly as possible. You’ll also want to line up the tips of the strips with the stem when mod podging them on and overlap them slightly. Finally, do half the ball at a time, and let it mostly dry before doing the other side to avoid tearing the paper while it’s wet.

Would pan pastels work to add color to the pomegranates?
Yes! That would work great.
What type of leaves did you use in the pictures? I wanted to pull that pattern but I wasn’t sure what type they were. thank you!
You can use the template from the pear branch. https://liagriffith.com/crepe-paper-pear-branch/
I download it last month. I am finding it difficult at times to remember what I have, and what I don’t. In the old system we could keep track of downloads.
Hi Jackeline! We have actually never been able to store downloaded files on our site for members, but it’s something we are looking into! What we do have is a way for you to see which projects you downloaded files for here in your craft room: https://liagriffith.com/craft-room/downloaded/. This helps you keep track of which projects you’ve downloaded each month and links back to the post. If you go to your downloaded projects in my craft room, you will see some wording at the top that tells you to create a folder on your computer for all of your Lia Griffith projects. This way you can access them from your computer anytime. Hope this helps!
Oh, no!!! I had already downloaded this project, but I thought I hadn’t. 🙁
Hi Jackeline! If you downloaded it already this month, it shouldn’t take away one of your credits. If you downloaded it last month, we can re-credit you so you get a project download back. Just let us know!
I, too, had very red fingers, but comes clean after a few washings. Fun project, regardless!
I am happy it washed off! 🙂
Can’t find a deep magenta color on the Blick craft paint site, only brilliant magenta. Is brilliant magenta the correct color name? Thanks.
Hi Nancy, they may have changed the name from when we purchased it because Brilliant Magenta looks exactly the same. I changed it in the post as well. Thanks for pointing that out!
These are wonderful! I have a bowl that is crying out for several!
These are just gorgeous! Thank you Emily for making them! 🙂
Dear Lia, they are so beautiful, I made four today.
… but please mention that your fingers turn red… and you cannot get it off with soap 🙂 it will have to grow out (just joking)
Oh goodness! That is a good point. Emily made this project and I do remember her pink hands. 😉
