Calla Lilies are renowned for their simple yet striking beauty. These updated Crepe Paper White Calla Lilies, using our double-sided crepe paper brings a fresh and modern twist to this classic flower. Despite its seemingly simple design with just one large petal, this project offers an excellent opportunity to master your shaping skills using a curling tool to achieve that perfect smooth curve. Ultimately, you'll leave this project feeling like a true floral artist.
Of course, Calla lilies hold special significance in many cultures. Symbolizing purity, innocence, and rebirth, they make a beautiful and meaningful addition to weddings, celebrations, or simply as a way to brighten your day. However, be careful: These lovely flowers are well-known to be toxic to dogs. Yet another reason why our Crepe Paper White Calla Lilies are a fabulous addition to your home decor.
This design incorporates many painting techniques, so prepare for your best Van Gogh impression. Use PanPastels and blending brushes to add subtle shades to your petals and leaves. Additionally, a hint of Diarylide Yellow in the center will give your lilies a lifelike touch. And lastly, with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, attach your petals to the stem wire. Use needle-nose pliers to secure and shape the floral wire, ensuring your flower stands tall and proud.
Once you've completed your Crepe Paper White Calla Lilies, the possibilities for display are endless! Arrange them in a vase for a simple yet elegant centerpiece. You could also incorporate them into a summer wreath, or add them to floral arrangements for a touch of timeless beauty.
We're eagerly waiting to see your gorgeous Crepe Paper White Calla Lilies! Your creations are what make our crafting community vibrant and inspiring. So snap a photo of your flowers and share it with us in our crafters' community or on Instagram using #MadeWithLia. We can't wait to celebrate you!

Are you using a Cricut or a Silhouette? Our files are set up for all cutting machines, there are just a few steps to set them up, like unzipping the file. I can send you a link to the video once I know which machine you are using. 🙂
Heya team.. I think your tools and materials list in the written instructions might be a little off… 🙂
Oh goodness. We just had a big event this weekend and I think we might have been distracted. 😉 We are back in the office on Tuesday and it will be updated then.
