This workshop is especially inviting if you’re just beginning your paper flower journey. And to make it even easier to achieve the most polished results, we’ve built a kit especially for this Crepe Paper Wild Rose. It has everything you need to create a piece that feels both elevated and impressive. If you’ve explored other rose varieties in our collection, you’ll love seeing how this freer, more organic style contrasts with their structured counterparts.
Unlike traditional garden roses with their tightly layered petals, the wild rose is open, airy, and expressive. In our workshop, you’ll shape broad, delicate petals that curve and flutter. You’ll build a center that draws the eye, then layer everything together so it appears light and effortless. Of coure, every detail matters, but nothing feels forced.
If you want to lean into the organic feel of your Crepe Paper Wild Rose, then style them loosely in a wide vase, or let them spill naturally across your mantel. Their open faces and expressive centers add depth and softness to any arrangement, making them a striking addition to your paper flower collection.
When finished, we can’t wait to see how you create this Crepe Paper Wild Rose project. Join our video workshop to get the best tips, tricks, and techniques to make them truly come to life. And don’t forget to share with us using #MadeWithLia or in our crafters’ community.

Back to the TopWhat are the other two roses you have in the arrangement? Thank you.
They are the English and garden rose. There is a link for them in the first paragraph. 🙂
I just signed up for a free trial on the membership but when I click to download the files for this, it goes to the main website page. Do I not yet have access because it’s only a free trial? I’m so in love with the idea of this project.
You should have access, for sure! Are you trying to download the PDF or SVG? The PDF will open in another browser window, where you can download it, and the SVG, since it is zipped, will go directly to your computer’s download folder. Let me know if that works for you and if not we will troubleshoot a bit more.
to be made of felt or satin ribbons the rose will be great as a brooch or to hold the ends of a scarf together (to avoid slipping off).
I sewed a hair elastic and a bigger button together and fixed a wild rose blossom (from one of your former projects) on top of the button. I use the elastic to hold the ends of a scarf together. Better than a knot or bow. Scarves: light wool, viscose, silk, cotton
Love all of these ideas!
