Join us right here for our Member Make with Meagan & Lia on Friday, March 13 at noon Pacific Time.

Though this project is designed for our intermediate to advanced crafters, we encourage members of all levels to give it a try. In our our live workshop, we’ll lean into fine details and the techniques that bring your Crepe Paper Winter Jasmine to life. So, this is a wonderful opportunity to embrace new challenges ahead of spring’s fresh beginnings — we can’t wait to craft these gorgeous flowers right along with you!
Jasmine is one of those flowers that’s always a little early to the party. It tends to bloom in late winter, before spring truly arrives. Across many cultures, jasmine represents optimism, grace, and new beginnings. Additionally, It reminds us that growth doesn’t wait for perfect conditions, just the perfect opportunity.
During this Member Make Workshop, we’ll guide you step by step through shaping the petals, creating realistic centers, and assembling those bright yellow blossoms along your branch. These workshops are designed to help you build the confidence to tackle any project, and the skills to really make them shine.
When finished, your Crepe Paper Winter Jasmine makes a striking statement styled in a tall vessel, placed naturally along a mantel, or incorporated into a larger seasonal arrangement. Its bold yellow hue instantly energizes a space and bridges the transition between winter and spring with elegance.
If you’re eager to dive right in, go ahead and gather your materials before hand. And as always, when your Crepe Paper Winter Jasmine branches are finally in full bloom, don’t forget to share them with us in the our crafters’ community. Happy Crafting!

Back to the TopIf I am using the heavy crepe paper instead of the double sided should I pre-stretch the paper before I cut it ?
Yes, you will want to pre-stretch about 50-75 percent.
Hi Lia and team, is the video available for yesterday’s winter Jasmine member make? I’m out of town and couldn’t view it yesterday.
Member Make is on Friday the 13th, so you didn’t miss it. I am guessing it might have been listed incorrectly somewhere. See you there!
Hi Lia,
I can’t wait to make these flowers! It’s been too long for me, busy with knitting and sewing as I am. Can I already make these flowers, in other words is there a tutorial, or should I wait until March 13th?
Kind regards,
Judith
Hello Judith! Meagan will add the tutorial photos after the workshop on the 13th. Hopefully, you can come craft along with us. 🙂
