DIY Felt Tree For Fall Decor
The color of Fall is something that seem to make me weak in the knees year after year. We have been having a grand time making project after project incorporating the warm and cozy palette. One of our newest favorites is the felt leaf wreath and once we finished decided to make another project using the same felt with a mini leaf pattern.
Making a wire base for a mini tree is a fun creative project where you can incorporate your own style. Since no tree looks alike, there is a lot of room for variations. The texture of the trunk and branches is made from recycled kraft paper from recycled lunch bags. Love it when we can use our trash to make pretty projects! You can use the tutorial below to see how we made out little tree and added out mini felt leaves. There is a free printable template for the leaves at the end of the post. Enjoy! ~ Lia

A wonderful little tree to go with my autumn wreath made with the same leaves. Thank you so much…you have made my autumn special!
Thank you so much, warms our heart to hear:-)
So pretty and so clever! I love the spool for the base! Thank you for sharing…I will have to try this.
Thank you so much:-)
Oh Lia I absolutely love this little tree! So very pretty and just love the wooden spool base. I must make one this weekend!!!!! Thanks for another fabulous tutorial!
The wooden spool was actually a happy accident:-) At first it was just on there to hold the tree but then I liked the look. Happy crafting!
Thank you for showing us how to make this adorable little tree. I may make one without leaves and put sparkly crystal snow on it for Christmas. And maybe a little red bird.
How fun!
