We love doing collaborations with Good Housekeeping. Our previous projects with them have included our felt fox cup cozy and felt pinecone bear kid’s craft, and now we are crafting up a lovely bouquet of crepe paper cosmos flowers for spring. You may remember that we shared the cosmos in a winter color palette for our heart shaped wreath, but we have discovered that these flowers are even more gorgeous using the double sided paper with beautiful shades of pink. Find our video tutorial below, or read the article on Good Housekeeping’s website! These crepe paper flowers are stunning for the warmer months, and they will last all year long.

Would this work just as well with the Heavy Crepe instead of the double sided? I did all my wedding flowers out of text weight, frosted paper, and book pages. Since this is my first venture into crepe paper flowers, I am unsure of all the nuances of the different types of crepe yet.
Extra Fine would work better for this specific flower but you can certainly try it with Heavy! This video may be helpful for you as you get started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OjcPMKATNM
Can you make the flowers with cardstock? Beautiful flowers and I love them so much! Thanks.
Hi! Our crepe patterns won’t work with regular paper, but we do have a cosmos in metallic paper! https://liagriffith.com/frosted-paper-cosmos-flower-video/
Hi Lia beautiful Cosmo flowers, but what shade of red was the marker that you used for this?
Thanks! It’s Copic R29.
These are so pretty, and what a lovely effect the shading with the marker has – LOVE!!
Isn’t it fun?! Thanks Janet!
