DIY Coffee CozyWe must admit, we absolutely love our morning coffee here at Lia Griffith HQ. Last week we ran out of coffee and let’s just say that things became interesting…If you or a coffee-loving friend can relate, this is the perfect project for you. The weather outside might be frightful, but we always appreciate the opportunity to bundle up with a warm cup of our favorite pick-me-up. Now you can take away your to-go cups in style by making your own DIY coffee cozy. This is a 60-minute project from start to finish, and it’s something you can enjoy all season long!

Download our printable instructions to start your DIY coffee cozy project. Here you will find your materials list that you can use when you head to the craft store. Pick our your felt colors, and then find some coordinating embroidery floss for stitching the felt pieces together. We stuck with neutral color palettes for our cute bear faces, but you can easily customize with your favorite colors. Make sure you are choosing a nice wool or wool blend felt for your felt coffee sleeve. If you’re having trouble finding felt at your local craft store be sure to check out our online store ShopLiaGriffith.com

Once you have your materials, print the PDF template as a guide for cutting your felt. Next, follow the 10-step photo tutorial as you stitch. Every piece is attached with a blanket stitch. For anyone just entering the world of hand sewing, find our Felt 101 video to learn more about working with the material! Coffee lovers can make a whole set of DIY coffee cozy designs with our fox coffee sleeve, woodland coffee sleeves or iron-on cozies. Browse through all of our felt DIYs, or head over to our membership page to start downloading. We would love to see your project photos, so please share them with us on Instagram using #DIYDreamingWithLia! Cheers ~ Lia and the Team
