Adding a bit of Vitamin D to your home decor will be much easier with these Felt Buttercups. Fun to make and very beginner-friendly, this project has the perfect summer vibe. And, while felt is involved, you can put your needle and thread away this round. Once you get your pieces cut and laid out, you'll just need your hot glue gun, felt, and a dash of wild creativity to get these beauties blooming.
Did you know these sunshine-colored flowers, symbolizing childish whimsy and joy, actually have a bit of a rebellious streak? Often considered a weed, buttercups can pop up just about anywhere. However, despite their bright appearance, buttercups are actually quite toxic.– a fun fact to keep in your back pocket the next time you're on a nature walk! But, no need to worry! Our Felt Buttercups look as lovely as the real deal and are 100% poison-free. Win-win!
Though it may appear as a single bloom, several flowers and buds make up each buttercup stem.To make our super simple Felt Buttercups look as realistic as possible, we arranged them in a wild and organic way. When finished, spritz your flowers with some stiffening spray to help them keep their shape. So, when next summer rolls around, simply take them out, fluff them up, and they'll look good as new!
So, gather up your materials, and let's get crafting! I know these Felt Buttercups will bring a smile to your face and a burst of color to your space. Don't forget to share your creations with us using the hashtag #MadeWithLia or in our crafters' community. We can't wait to see your blooming masterpieces!

HI! Is there a way to make felt flowers waterproof so you can display them outside? Thank you!
Not really. Paper is best indoors or out of the elements.
And what about felt flowers outside?
Sure, but I would keep them out of the elements. 🙂
