Whimsical Ware For Your Hair!

Tools & Materials

  • Scissors
  • Low-Temp Hot Glue Gun
  • Felt
  • Marker – green
  • White Floral Wire – 26 gauge


  1. Gather the tools and materials listed above.
  2. Cut out the felt according to the pattern.
  3. Cut light green felt approximately 1 inch wide, then glue around your headband to cover the metal.
  4. Bend the end of your headband over and glue and then glue center around the end of the wire.
  5. Glue five petals around the center of the petal.
  6. Glue and pinch the base of the leaves to create depth.
  7. Twist the wire of the flower around the headband and cut off excess. Glue leaves around the flowers.
  8. Use green marker to add color to the light green leaves.


We use felt from Benzie Design for many of our project. For this headband, we used their felt in Moss, Fern, Aqua and Peacock. For our marker, we used Grass Green from Copic.
