These ornaments are perfect for crafters of all skill levels. Beginners can embrace the calming rhythm of basic embroidery stitches, while more experienced stitchers can add their own creative flourishes. If you plan to use a cutting machine for this project, be sure to download our SVG file first. Once you're ready to give these gingerbread beauties a go – just gather your tools and materials to follow our step-by-step tutorial.
Ornaments hold a special place in our hearts during the winter months. Moreover, they're like tiny time capsules, each one whispering stories of holidays come and gone. These Felt Gingerbread Ornaments weave a tapestry of tradition and togetherness, adding a touch of stiched-up whimsy to your family's story.
For our Felt Gingerbread Ornaments, we opted for a classic color palette of hazelnut felt and white embroidery floss, conjuring images of freshly baked cookies dusted with powdered sugar. However, feel free to get creative! For example, you could swap the white with a vibrant red or green for a more traditional holiday look. Likewise, feel free to add a bit of sparkle with seed beads as your final touch.
.
Once you've finished creating your felt gingerbread ornaments, hang them on your tree or gift them to loved ones as a sweet reminder of the holiday spirit. We can't wait to see how your gingerbread creations turn out! So be share your projects with our crafters' community or on Instagram using the hashtag #MadeWithLia, and let the world enjoy your festive flair.

what does it mean when my download says extra project on it?

Hi Lia
Was just looking at your website and the projects look really nice so considering taking out membership.
Just 2 questions. I don’t have a Cricut machine, I cut by hand. Do your templates include the pattern I can trace and cut by hand?
Secondly, I have an Etsy shop on which I sell what I make (Handmade in Homerton). If I were to make something from your projects and wanted to put that up in my Etsy shop, do you allow that?
With thanks
Ingrid
Hello Ingrid, all of our projects include a printable template for hand cutting. We do offer a license program for those who would like to make and sell our designs. You can email hello@liagriffith.com for those details.
Is there a video that teaches the stitches?
Yes! We have a craft track for stuffies in the craft academy. https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/tracks/felt-stuffies-8-easy-steps/
