Become a MemberUp next in our pinecone crafts series is this little hedgehog. The pinecone is a perfect base for these little guys with their prickly fur. And the shape of a pinecone could not be more perfect! Our pattern includes the template for the cone face, dainty paws and cute little ears. We then added small black beads for his pretty little eyes and nose. These gorgeous DIY pinecone hedgehogs make fab tree decorations for the Holidays and are light enough to pop straight onto the branches. You could also have a go at making a family of hedgehogs using different sizes of pinecones and re-sizing the templates before you print them. We always recommend using a good quality felt for best results . My favorite felts are wool felts because the softness of the material just makes these pinecone crafts even more adorable! Once all your pieces of felt are cut you can assemble your pinecone hedgehog with a low temperature glue gun.

Where do you get these little black beads? I am in dire need of them for my crafts and am overwhelmed by the amount of choices.
We got our beads at Michaels in the jewelry section! You are right- there are a TON of choices. We just tried to get the most basic small black beads. Good luck!
