This project is perfect for intermediate crafters, so having some construction know-how is highly recommended. However, if you’re a beginner looking to challenge yourself, or just want to try something new — we encourage you to give this craft a try. Before you dive in, make sure to gather your tools and materials from our list to the right. When you’re ready, follow our step-by-step instructions to bring these precious arctic babies into your home.
Polar Bears, being Earth’s largest land carnivores, are perfectly adapted to harsh winter environments thanks to a thick layer of blubber and dense fur. Though our felt polar bear cubs are nowhere near as mighty, what they lack in size, they more than make up for in cuteness. To create these fuzzy bear cubs, we used a subtle tone-on-tone approach with our white and antique colored felt. If you’re feeling extra creative, why not craft a mama bear to go along with them? Just check out our Winter Bear Stuffie project and use the same felt colors to create a matching family of bears. Now, how winter wonderful is that?
Once you’ve finished crafting your felt polar bear pack, remember to share your winter-inspired masterpiece with us in our crafters’ community or give us a shout-out on Instagram with the hashtag #MadeWithLia.
