Can you tell that we’re really into mushrooms this month? We have several new projects for you, including this felt mushroom basket for Halloween and these pretty paper mushrooms made from a mix of honeycomb paper and crepe paper. Finally, we also have this frosted paper mushroom wreath that Emily created.

Along with the mushrooms, Emily added paper leaves and a cute, little paper moth to this wreath. There are also some small paper circles sprinkled throughout the design to resemble bits of moss.

Toadstooly spectacular

The fun part of wreath making is you can get really creative with your design. For our frosted paper mushroom wreath, Emily wanted it to look very natural and woodsy, so she choose one of our little grapevine wreaths from the shop and left about half of it showing. You can always cover your whole wreath with paper leaves if you’d like, make more mushrooms or another moth, or look to our other wreaths if you want to add on elements from a different project.

We’d love to see your version of this frosted paper mushroom wreath, so make sure to share pictures with us! As always, you can email hello@liagriffith.com, post photos to our crafters community page, or use the hashtag #MadeWithLia on Instagram or Facebook.
