Become a MemberWe have been working on a lot of new things this year! Since January, we’ve revived our Member Make workshops, gave our website a fresh new look, and updated our online craft store. We also JUST launched a new getting started page for making crepe paper flowers!
If you’re new here—or new to making flowers out of crepe paper—this is a great place to start. I have been making paper flowers for 15 years but fell in love with crepe paper a few years ago. Since then, I’ve crafted many different crepe paper flowers and even come out with my own line of crepe paper. And now I’m here to help you get started!
First, watch our videos.
On our getting started page, you will see five steps to help you begin your flower-making journey. First, there’s a quick intro video. And then we move on to step two—a video to help you learn about different types of crepe paper. Understanding this material is key to making crepe paper flowers that look realistic. And I want to set you up for success!
Then, start crafting!
Step three is where you’ll find some great flower crafts for beginners. I made sure to pick projects that include a video tutorial so you can craft along with me and get a step-by-step visual. There’s also a good variety of crepe paper flower projects, so you can choose if you want to make a paper flower bouquet, a flower wreath, or a flower crown. As you will soon see, making crepe paper flowers will lead to so many other beautiful projects!
Continue exploring and learning.
The fourth step is more resources for you to dive into. You can explore all of our crepe paper flower templates here and get tips for making crepe paper flowers with cutting machines. This is where you can continue to grow your skills and start taking on more advanced flowers.
And keep crafting beautiful paper flowers.
Finally, the last step is to stock your craft room! If you want to make crepe paper flowers, there are certain craft tools and materials that you will need. Of course you can always use what you already have or whatever you prefer. But I thought you might find it useful to see what we use for making crepe paper flowers. We also have some great starter bundles there for beginners!
Ready to start crafting? We have tons of amazing craft projects on our site. So we hope all of these changes have made it easier for you to find projects you love and get the most out of your membership.

Hi. I have purchased your book Crepe Paper Flowers and want to use Svg files to cut flowers but I cannot see where I can do this. It states in the book to enter a password but I cannot see where I have to put it. It just keeps asking me to become a member to get Svg files.
Regards
Alison Thomas
Hi Alison. You can email hello@liagriffith.com and Emily will give you the links directly to access those files. 🙂
I bought two crepe paper kits from you. One kit had the pattern but no instructions. The second kit didn’t have a pattern or instructions. How can I get these without having to pay out for a membwrahip? I’d love to look bit don’t have the money.
Hi Sandi – look for the URL on the crepe paper kit insert, and it will lead you to the page with the instructions and videos. You do NOT have to be a member to access those! If you’re still having trouble, please email us at hello@liagriffith.com.
What should I consider if I want to choose a different crepe paper (I.e. heavy instead of double sided, extra fine instead of heavy, etc)?
It all depends on the final product. We love our flowers to look & feel realistic, so we’ll use extra fine crepe paper for thin, dainty flowers (snow drops, peonies). Double-sided crepe is a great option for those same kind of flowers that need more structure (anemones, roses). Heavy crepe is best for larger blooms or any flowers that really need to hold shape (poinsettias, leaves/branches). I hope that helps!
I just received my Cricut Maker. I want to do crepe paper flowers, but I don’t want to order kits. I have arthritis in my hands and bought the Cricut so it will cut the patterns for me. I already have the materials I need. How do I get the patterns on my iPad?
Hi Marilyn,
We would recommend downloading our files and uploading them to Design Space on a desktop computer. You can then easily access them in design space on your iPad.
Lia, I just got started making paper flowers and have bought a lot of materials from you and anywhere I find them. I’ve even included a Cricut Maker. I’ve made progress and am having lots of fun. Not only have I bought and made flowers form your kits, but have also made flowers from your book and videos. Using crepe paper from bundles I ordered from you, I am running out of some in the pack but not all. Can we replace certain rolls without having to buy the whole thing again. Also, I found metallic or frosted paper at the site you suggested (PaperPapers) but do not want to buy large amounts. Will you carry that paper and text weight papers that are in your instructions? Thanks. I would love to share with you my work but can’t seem to get on Instagram. I must be the only person alive today that isn’t already on it. I’m going to get one of my children to help me so that I can share with the group. Love your work and thanks for sharing. Doris

Just would like to know other than crepe paper what else does Lia use to make leaves. I do everything without a cutting machine Judy
