Gothic Table For Halloween
Throwing a Halloween party? Be inspired by our devilishly handsome Gothic table decor. Created using a collection of vases, plates and crockery from thrift stores and painted black, our Halloween party has oodles of spooky style without the frightening price tag. You can pick up ornate ceramics from almost any thrift store, flea market or antique shop. Stick to inexpensive pieces with lots of moldings and details. Cover an outdoor table with newspaper or an old dust sheet and spray your items with a matt black spray paint. We would recommend wearing a dust mask over your mouth and nose as well. Note that the painted pieces are for decorative purposes only and you can find black dining plates at Cost Plus or other home retailers

Become a MemberOnce your items are dry, it’s time to set your table. The trick to achieving a stunning set is to mix lots of pieces in varying shapes and sizes. Think about creating height in the center and layer unpolished silver candle sticks, chargers, plates and gauze napkins (we made ours from cheesecloth) on top of one another. More is more as I always say! If you want to include the gorgeous black paper rose bouquet you can find the pattern here. And if you love those spooky paper spiders you can find the pattern here. We also have heaps of other DIY Halloween projects over here. Happy Halloween fellow crafters! Enjoy! ~ Lia

I am having troubles printing out your directions. I don’t know if it is my browser or what to do. I can only print the 1st page. So I am not getting the how to-s. Is it something I am doing wrong or now that I signed up to get your down loads I can’t print? Also your Paper Lantern for Fall Decor is one of the hardest thing I have ever tried to make of your projects. I cut out the box using my cricut, then printed the insert and gluing them together was where the problems started. Your projects are not giving good directions. I don’t know about anyone else but I need details.
Hi Judi, sorry for the trouble. I am not sure that I understand your question. You are welcome to email us at hello@liagriffith.com. As for printing the tutorial, if you double click on the image you can print only the image and don’t have to print everything else.
I have NO words.
It is to die for!
