Craft Challenge: Painterly Icelandic Poppy Flower
Nothing says summer quite like "poppy." (Even if "Iceland" doesn't scream sunshine and flowers.) Their transparent petals catch the light and are a perfect bloom for our extra fine crepe paper. For this month's Member Make Challenge, I showed advanced techniques I've been experimenting with. Follow the YouTube video as I guide you through making this stunning and colorful flower. Put your spin on the project by choosing different colors, adding your personal touch, or creating a bright bouquet of them!

I think you could mix this red felt poppy center and add the Icelandic poppy petals (maybe smaller), and that might work beautifully! Share photos if you make them. Search Icelandic and you can see all the options. There are several version of a video for these flowers.
I was wondering if there were instructions or a video for this template? I cut the svgs but can find how to assemble the pieces. Thanks!

Can you use pan pastel for the fringe?

Hi Lia, I need your help! When I glue the petals on the base/stamen, the flower is really closed😥 What did I do wrong?🤔 I have a picture of of but I don’t know how to send it to you😁
