movable paper bunny design

Bunnies need a lot of space to run around, so we thought it was only fitting to make a movable paper bunny. Simply add some brads to secure your paper bunny pieces, and then move your bunny’s head and legs in any which way. For an extra dash of adorable, we added a tiny piece of cotton to give our paper bunny a tail.

While this is an easy craft for kids, we also think it would be fun for adults to make! Kids can craft this bunny as a paper toy and adults can use their paper bunnies as place cards for Easter brunch or dinner. Simply write each guest’s name on a paper bunny and place it on a linen napkin to create a pretty table setting.

How to Make a Movable Paper Bunny

  1. Gather your craft tools and materials. Then download the template or SVG file below.
  2. Cut the cardstock according to the pattern using your scissors or a cutting machine; if cutting with scissors, use a hole punch to punch out holes for the brads where indicated in the template.
  3. Use hot glue to attach the second ear to the front of the bunny’s head.
  4. Attach the head to the front of the body. Line up the holes, then place a brad through the hole and secure in place.
  5. To attach the front and back legs, place a leg on either side of the paper body lining up the holes; place a brad through the hole and secure in place.
  6. For the bunny’s tail, take a small bit of cotton from a cotton ball, roll into a ball, and attach the tail using a small dab of hot glue.
