Labels for Pantry Organization
I love to cook and in the past my pantry would have been spilling over with different bags of flour, pastas, spices, sugars, nuts and anything else I could squeeze in there. It was a nightmare. . . and one I don’t want to repeat! I have shared pantry labels before and have been always been asked to share my pantry – well here it is! It took a little bit of time to get it organized. We started the pantry update by lining the shelves with my own mint and teal stripe design that I printed as removable wallpaper from Spoonflower. You may remember first seeing it in my kitchen redesign on my open shelves. I then picked up the selection of jars at Ikea and pretty storage baskets from Target. I’m most proud of my spice drawer. Using strips of baseboard cut to length, painted white and glued flat across the bottom of the drawer, we created little mini shelves inside our spice drawer. This makes the spice jars tilt slightly upwards meaning that they are super easy to grab when I’m cooking. These little jars are from World Market and are the perfect size for all your spices and with the labels stuck neatly on the front, finding the right spice for your meal couldn’t be easier. Hop on over to Online Label for your blank full sheet labels, then download our labels from their blog. The fonts we used are Nickainley and Klinic Slab You have a couple of designs to choose from – a modern Scandinavian influenced design or a very elegant, vintage bracket design. We like to mix and match our labels in the pantry which I think works really well. Once you have opened the file you can alter the text to suit your needs and add your own pantry staples. Once printed you can cut or punch out your labels with circular hole punches from Amazon. We used a 1.5″ circular punch for the spice labels, an oval punch for the jar labels and a corner cutter for the straight labels making them extra beautiful! I am loving my super organized and very pretty pantry and feel inspired bake this weekend. Perhaps a batch of those yummy gluten-free blueberry scones for Mother’s Day brunch? Enjoy! ~ Lia

Hi there,
I am not able to download the labels:-(
The link seems to be broken. Is this still valid?
Thank you so much! I loved these labels, can’t wait to download them!!
Yes they are. Here is the link: https://www.onlinelabels.com/articles/free-pantry-kitchen-spice-label-templates-by-lia-griffith
I love the labels, there absolutely wonderful but I can’t seem to be able to edit them. Please help.
Oh no! You should be able to edit them. I would say to try saving them onto your computer first before trying to edit the file
The link does not go to the labels. I’ve been hunting for these for a couple of weeks. Have they been taken down?
Sorry for that confusion! Here is the correct link 🙂 http://blog.worldlabel.com/2015/pantry-spice-jar-labels-for-your-spring-redo.html#more-16179

Yes, we have used the Barilla… we are currently using that brand now and are really liking it. Trader Joe’s brown rice used to be our favorite, but it’s so very starchy. Their corn pasta is pretty good though and with so many more options now its nice to try others. Target also has a good one in their Simple Balanced Brand.
I haven’t tried the Simple Balanced Brand yet but thank you for the recommendation, I am always on the hunt for the perfect Gluten Free pasta.
Thank you, it’s hard to find good gluten free pasta that we really like. I’ll have to keep an eye out and check out New Seasons closest to me in Tualatin or Lake Oswego!
I agree. I usually don’t like the rice kind, it gets too sticky. Have you tried the gluten free from the Barilla brand?
This is fantastic… such an inspiration! What brand are your Gluten Free Lasagna Noodles and where do you buy them?
I usually get mine at New Season, unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the brand.
Hi there Lia How is Spring in Oregon? Hope it’s being lovely for you and yours. It’s really pretty where you are, went thru there few times when hubs was trucking. We went to the outlet mall close to Troutsdale truck stop.
Love this organizational tool, gets us all excited about organizing our pantries if we have one, I don’t. Have cupboards only but would like to label some nice jars and make things look nicer. Start out season and Summer with kitchen looking good. Maybe that will inspire me to finish painting walls in kitchen and cupboards.
I’ll be doing all work for while as hubs had partial knee replacement on 28th. of April so he’s not getting around real well yet but healing nicely, sure has kept me busy and pooped out.
Thanks for sharing all these labels to inspire us to organize and make pretty our kitchen ingredients. Love your little baking trug, think I might just have one of those out in shed I could use for my baking goods, great idea. Will have to wait for hubs to make some of those also.
He did venture out on back yard off the deck today. He hates having to have me help him do what he needs. Have to put his compression stockings on both legs, wrap his leg that had surgery after he has his shower, help getting dressed, really didn’t like that. He’s had minor surgery but never any serious stuff.
Me I’m an old hand as have had many surgeries, not big to me. Our daughter freaks out if one of her kids breaks a bone or has to have anything done. My youngest son was always hurting himself so no biggie, just load him in car, to emergency we’d go. He hurt himself more times than other 3 kids. Even broke same leg twice in one year, sigh. Daughter asks me how I can stay so calm, how not to, isn’t that what injured person needs? Things will be fixed so no point getting all crazy. She was all riled up when I had both knees replaced. No big, just something had to do so went ahead, got it over with.
Did your daughter hurt herself as a kid? Hope not too much if at all.
Thanks for sharing all these great labels. Have to get a color cartridge for printer.
Have great rest of week and weekend.
Where did you get those jars with handle that sticks up on top? Love look of those. I Have thing for cute jars/lids.
Hi JaneEllen, we have had a wonderful spring so far but expecting rain this week. I have had lots of opportunities to enjoy my garden and will be sharing pictures soon. Sorry to hear about your husband’s knee replacement but happy to hear that he is healing nicely. I am sure he is so grateful to have your help. Of course my daughter hurt herself as a kid, I think they all do. But she was definitely calmer as a child than some of my friend’s that had boys:-) Your poor grandson to breakke the same leg twice in one year, it is hard for the little ones to stay still. I purchased the old fashioned jars at Ikea and love my new look, it was a bit of work but puts a smile on my face everyday when I see it. Brings a sense of calmness to see it all organized:-)
