This glitzy invitation comes in two parts — a glitter gold envelope with seal and the announcement card, which sits comfortably inside. We are sharing this design as an SVG cut file for those of you who have a cutting machine and a PDF for those who will trim by hand.
And the Award for Best Host Goes to…
A mailed invite always makes any party feel instantly fancy! And if you really want to go all out, why not make some fun photo booth props and an Oscar statue for all of your guests? Both of these projects are easy to craft and will make for a memorable party!
If you are using a cutting machine, you will need a sheet of glitter gold paper for the envelope and a sheet of red glitter paper for the seal. We then secured a small ribbon flag to the seal for extra glam! You can print and cut the invitation on a sheet of white card stock — just edit the text box with details of your party by downloading the free font GeoSansLight first.
If you do not have a cutting machine, download our PDF and edit the text box with details of your celebration using the free font GeoSansLight then print onto white card stock on your printer at home. Trim to size, fold the edges in and make a seal using red card and a little ribbon. Simple!
Stay tuned for lots of Oscar party ideas including printable Bingo cards and a ballot sheet. You can also take a look at our party decor ideas over here for more ways to handcraft your Oscar celebration! Enjoy! ~Lia

Is it possible to get this without the black background and as just black Graphic/text?. I want to print this on black paper then foil laminate it. Doing it this way will make the black background unnecessary, Thank you SO Much for your help 🙂
Hmm, unfortunately we do not have the time to go back and change the file at all, but I suppose you could still print this file onto black paper. Foiling it sounds like an absolutely beautiful idea 🙂 Best of luck!
Am I looking at wrong thing? don’t see pdf for envelope. I’m going to hand cut that one to use as envelope to send b/d card to grand daughter at college in CA. Want to make it special for her. She’ll be missing her family even tho she has many new friends to help her celebrate her 19th. b/d.
Don’t have gold glitter paper but do have really pretty silver with designs on it. She loves silver. Will do little changing up for situation but think the silver will work also.
This is really snazzy, love it. Going to use some of wording from invitation for her card. She’s a pretty special person besides being a wonderful grand daughter. Want her to know we’re missing her and how much she means to us. She worked so hard all thru her school years, she deserves special attention.
Happy weekend
The PDF envelope is in the first PDF file for the invitation 🙂 It includes a sheet with a glittery gold background that you can use. That is so nice that you want to do something nice for your granddaughter! Happy birthday to her!
