The holiday season offers the perfect opportunity to make make make. And our paper cone lantern is the ideal DIY project to get you in a festive mood. We used this gorgeously rich glitter paper from Michaels, but our template for this cone can be used on any text weight paper, so feel free to choose a color that suits your décor!
Cheers to a New Year!
We love this paper cone lantern because you can use it as a decoration for both Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The gold “cheers” sign is also a fun one to put out and works perfectly for a New Year’s Eve celebration at home. You can stack these cones any way you want to and use them on a table, shelf, or mantel.
To make these pretty paper lanterns, simply download the template below. If you are cutting by hand then you will want to download the PDF at the end of this post. If you have a cutting machine, you can use the SVG file. Once you’re done assembling your paper cone lantern, add a flameless candle to give it that warm holiday glow.
