Papercut Spiderweb Treat Bags

Spiderwebs are one of our go-to designs when making Halloween decorations. Remember our creepy spiderweb lanterns that we made last year? Well our graphic designer Lindsay has done it again with these papercut spiderweb treat bags!
Because spiderwebs are naturally intricate, we recommend using a cutting machine for this paper craft project. However, you are always welcome to use our printable template and cut this by hand with detail scissors or a craft knife.

Creepy Crawly Treats
Depending on where you live, trick-or-treating may look a bit different this year. But that doesn’t mean you can’t give out fun and festive treats to your friends and neighbors — or have a little Halloween party at home with your family! To make your spiderweb treat bags even more special, you can personalize each one you are gifting with the person’s favorite candy or chocolate, and maybe slip another craft inside that you think they would like.
When you’re ready to craft your spiderweb treat bags, all you will need is some cardstock paper and vellum paper. We chose to make our treat bags in white and the spider in both black and purple. This is another area for you to get creative, and we can’t wait to see your Halloween creations!
Instructions
Cut out the spiderweb treat bags according to the template, then fold along all the score lines. Add adhesive to the long side tab, then tuck and secure in place. Close up the bottom pieces and add adhesive to secure closed. Pack up a few goodies, then tuck in the top flap to close — don’t forget to add your spider!

I made these bags but can’t figure out the scoring. Is the third cut file just a scoring template that you do manually or can I have my machine score the bags too?
I’m talking about the third mat you cut. On my design space it’s bright pink and just the scoring lines. Thanks!
The score lines have to be changed to “SCORE” and then “ATTACH” before you hit Make It. We show how to do that here: https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/how-to-use-files-cricut/
Thank you for your answer. You made my day! Now I don’t have to spend so much time scoring them.
No problem at all! We are happy to answer all your questions so you can make our projects 🙂
