Spring in Bloom LOVE Banner

A pretty play on a papel picado, this love banner is perfect for DIY wedding decor or to decorate any party. We cut ours from a metallic white paper from paper-papers.com and you can either use card stock or they also cut beautifully with a text weight paper. We have included the SVG cut file for those who has a personal cutting machine, but also included the PDF for you who love to hand cut. Either way, these will look simply gorgeous for your event and are designed to coordinate with the other “Spring in Bloom” DIY projects like the paper lanterns, table numbers and invitation wrap. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Hello! I’m so excited to make this banner for my wedding. My fiance and are I going to put it on the van that transports guests from the hotel to the venue! By any chance would you mind sharing the name of the font you used for this so that I can coordinate my invitation font (and other signs) with this banner? Thank you!
Great idea! The font is Museo (https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/museo) ð
Can I buy this somewhere or from someone. Have my son and his wife visiting from Hungary and are having a gathering on Friday 12/27 and would like to put this up in the room we rented.
Hi Brenda,
We do not provide pre made project for purchase, only the tools to craft them yourself ð
Any progress on getting a whole alphabet? These would be perfect for my daughter’s wedding as banners for group pictures! We’ve used so many of your ideas and patterns —
THANK YOU for all your hard work.
We have the full blossom alphabet right here!
I have a Scan n Cut. Do these template work on this too?
Hi! I’m not too familiar with Scan N Cut’s software and if it’s compatible with SVG files. You may want to check with their customer service to be sure!
hi ive downloaded the file but cant open it in my silhouette portrait
For the Silhouette you need the Designer EditionSoftware to use svg files. Do you have that installed?
I have the cricut explore. The SVG file imported as 1 block image. How do I break it up so that each letter can be sized individually for the banner?
Each letter is a separate layer, so if you ungroup the layers using the panel on the right side of the screen in Design Space, you should be able to cut one letter out per page ð Good luck!
I can’t to download free, please help me!
I need this download but I Can’t.
Can somebody send me in my e-mail?
Help me please!

Hi Isabella, this is not a freebie. You can sign up for our membership for only $5 a month and get much more with it.
I would love to get letters for my daughters name..for her grad party this year…EMMA…would they be possible?
Unfortunately we are so busy in the studio and do not have time to do any custom projects. This is a good suggestion though (to create a banner with all letters of the alphabet available) so I will add that to the list for the team brainstorm!! ð
Its gorgeous! So romantic! Love it!
May I know which font you used?
Hi Ivy. We almost always customize our fonts, this is one we customized.
Thanks for your kind attention! Love your work.
Thank you ð
Hi, I tried to separate the layers in SVG file, but I didn’t figure out how, and I can’t find a tutorial on this theme either. Could you please explain me how to do it? I’m using Silhouette Cameo, designer edition software. Many thanks, the design is very beautiful!
Did you import the SVG into your Silhouette page? Maybe find an online tutorial for importing SVG files. I am a Cricut user so not a familiar with Cameo.
Hi, thanks for the reply, I done it eventually. So, for Silhouette users, after importing, you must select that strange shape you see on the screen and go to âungroupâ option in “object” tools. Second, you must unselect by clicking anywhere else on the screen. Then, when clicking above the image again, you’ll be able to move one layer at a time, until you separate all layers. ð
Thanks ð
Hi, you have more letters ? They are absolutely beautiful ð
Not yet.
Hola!!! Me encanto este posto pero no puedo descargar los patrones para poder hacerlo! Me los podrias mandar con otro formato? Gracias!
Make sure you are downloading the pdf not the svg file. Those are the only two formats I have. If you don’t have Adobe you can download the free Adobe Reader version.
Muy hermoso y delicado, gracias por compartirlo
Enjoy!
ah ha…the missing link for separating under silhouette (not cricut) is “deselect all” button on V3

Great, thanks for letting us know!!!
The layers are overlapped, you just need to separate them.
So pretty,I love the design very cute for a girls room on fabric.
What a great idea! If you make one please share a photo with us at hello@liagriffith.com
I am so impressed with what you do Lia, all your creations are so special. Can’t thank you enuf for sharing your delightful projects time after time. I have utmost respect for your talents. Just wish I had some of them.
I’ve had to scale back a bit with projects I attempt as my blasted arthritic hands are not cooperating at all these days. When I try to do too intricate cutting I end up disgustingly frustrated.
I love this love banner so when I really looked at it I thought I could maybe print it out on ink jet vellum. That way parts that should be cut out will print out sheer and I can still have the project. Think I will do same with the spring lanterns. Just use another sheet of vellum behind each sheet printed to give it more body.
Now the fun part, finding ink jet vellum. I’ll look for some on Paper-Paper. com. Don’t want to ruin my new HP Envy 4500 I bought to be compatible with new Windows 8.1 pc. I’m hoping printing some of your projects will print out beautifully on ink jet vellum, figured it’s worth a try.
Have gone thru the projects have printed out looking for more do-able for me and decided the camellias might just be the one. I am going to print them out on some trial papers first while I wait for papers I’ll order thru Paper-paper to come. Sure appreciate that link to order papers that will enhance this project. Looking forward to making some lovely camellias. Thanks again for sharing. Wishing you Happy Easter.

Ne fonctionne pas avec la silhouette CamÃĐo quel dommage.
It should but you need the upgraded designer software to upload SVG files.
Vraiment trÃĻs beau une fois encore. Bravo
ð

Awe, you just made my day!! Thank you for your sweet message!
This is soooo gorgeous! This is perfect for almost any occasion – thanks for sharing!
You are welcome, enjoy;-)
This SVG sakes as a big black blob when I download it, am I doing something wrong?
They are all stacked on top of each other in separate layers so when you go to cut in Cricut it will still work. We just did it this way because it is a bit easier to resize them when they are stacked, and Cricut also uploads images to the size we made them originally.
Thank you, this is beautiful. Appreciate the template, don’t have a cutting machine.
ð

Lia I uploaded the file and there it was all of it. Dummy me just had to think about it. Thanks I love it
xx
Lia I’m not sure what’s wrong but all I get is one file and I’m not sure what that is. Can’t make any sense of it. Is there suppose to be L-O-V-E and a couple of others like in the PDF file. I am taking about the SVG file. Thanks Marty

what Cricut cartridge did you use for the lovely stencil cut out?
None, it is my design;-) You can download the SVG file(and most of my SVG files) for free on my blog.
Beautiful – THANK you ð
Enjoy;-)
Gorgeous!
Within minutes of seeing this I tried to load the SVG onto my silhouette but the banner seems to overlap all the letters and flowers into one merged item. Is there something special I need to do – outside of tracing/converting the template into a SVG file?
PS. Can’t wait to see what it looks like cut from special paper!!!
