Just Married Papercut Blossom Garland
Goodies You Can't Google
You've found a member-exclusive project. But for less than the price of a fancy coffee... You'll get instant access to this and over 2,000 other premium projects inside the Lia Griffith membership!
Become a MemberPaper is such a versatile material, and it can be used to create some really elegant home and event decor. We got such a positive response on our LOVE banner wedding project from last year that we knew we had to give you more! Here are more pretty papercut letters to make your own Just Married banner for your wedding, or make any personalized banner for a special event. Â
This downloadable set includes every letter of the alphabet, the numbers 0-9, and an "&" symbol for creating any banner that you would like. We love the idea of creating a simple DIY Just Married banner, but these letters would also be gorgeous to display the newlyweds' names with the ampersand in between. Or, use the numbers to create a banner with your wedding date. Your possibilities are endless! If you are incorporating these letters into your DIY wedding decor, be sure to check out our matching spring in bloom paper lanterns that would look gorgeous at any event. Of course, you could also easily use this banner for a birthday or anniversary party as well. We cut our letters out onto a metallic light coral paper (see Shop this Project below) for a lovely "Just Married" wedding look, but you can choose any color that matches your event decor.Â
Download the SVG file if you are using a cutting machine, or download the PDF if you are cutting by hand. To give fair warning, it will be tough to cut these out by hand. I would suggest using an x-acto knife if this is what you are doing. You can also use the PDF version to create pretty stencils out of card stock for painting! Or, if you want to stick your letters directly to a wall, you can use your cutting machine to cut them out onto vinyl. Once you have your letters cut out, you can simply string them together by gluing them to a piece of ribbon or twine. For a bright coral PDF version of our papercut alphabet letters, head over to this post. Browse all of our DIY wedding decor projects, and feel free to send in any suggestions to hello@liagriffith.com of projects that you would like to see in the future! We would love to see the creations you come up with using these letters, so send in your photos or tag me in your Instagram photos with the hashtag #DIYDreamingWithLia. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Is there another paper that you could recommend? I can’t seem to find the metallic paper on felt paper scissors. The link is broken.
Hello Hanna, I have updated the links. You can see it in the right hand column. 🙂
I’m getting an error message when trying to open this SVG file on my Brother Scan n Cut CM350. I am able to import other SVGs on this machine. Has anyone successfully used Lia Griffith SVG files on this type of machine?
Error message: “Unable to import. The file may not be usable or supported. (E11006)”
I’m in a pinch time-wise because I’m making this for an upcoming wedding! Much thanks.
We have not used the Brother Scan n Cut. My only suggestion is that you make sure the file is uncompressed. You just need to double-click on the zipped file. If that doesn’t work maybe you can Google search how to use an SVG with this machine.
Thank you so much for the banner files. I made a “MARRIED 10-10-2020” banner for our daughter’s wedding. It was a solitary affair with no ceremony or reception due to COVID. We were not even able to attend the simple mountain wedding. Thank you, Lia, for your wonderful creative heart!
Oh wow Mari, I’m sorry to hear you were not able to attend in person. I’m sure your daughter felt your love, and your handmade banner was the icing on the (wedding) cake! Thank you for sharing with us 🙂
Hi lia , I’m a new member and joined mainly for the crepe flower templates but I love these and wondered if I would be able to use them on my scan n cut. Gettingmarried in October and would love to be able to use this.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!! We aren’t familiar with the Scan n Cut machine, if it accepts svg files it should work.
Hello Lia and Team,
I love this banner! I am having difficulty with cutting on my Explore Air. I want to cut a name out and I have unchecked the letters and numbers that I do not want. I resized the letters to fit as large as I can on my 12×12 mat. I get a notice that my cut is too large and then when I go down a size, I get a notice to remove exclusive content. Do you have any ideas?
The max size that you can make your art on a 12×12 mat is 11.5×11.5, otherwise you will get the “artwork is too large” message. The exclusive content message is a Cricut error that happens to us sometimes, so I would suggest logging out and back into Design Space and see if that works!
Hello, my english is very poor, for this, forgive me!
I want to know if this pack (pdf archieve) is all letters and numbers existing?
Thanks!
Yes, this PDF does include all letters and numbers!
Hi! Today is my first day as member, but I’ve a problem. I’m not able to download Blossom banner template Pdf, or else when I open pdf file, this appears empty: there aren’t images of numers or letters. Why? Can you help me?
Thank you
Welcome, we’re happy to have you! Be sure to download the PDF to your desktop and open from there (instead of opening in your browser window). Hope that works!!
Great! It works! Thank you
I am attempting to download the files in SVG to my Silhouette Cameo but continue to recieve the note, The file type you are attempting to access is not supported. Is this something that can be fixed or do your files not support the Cameo.
You can only upload SVG files to Silhouette Studio if you have the designer edition. I believe there’s a way to convert it to a format that works without the designer edition, but you should contact their customer service to be sure!
Hey Lia! Question for you, can the Cricut cut even more intricate and detailed cuts? For example something like this detailed invite: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/388505905334212514/
Or can it only do them if the cuts are more so on the bigger side like your project above or something like this invite card: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/555279829037093635/
Thanks for sharing the tutorial. I’m enjoying your Craftsy class as well 🙂 I don’t yet have a Cricut, but looking forward to it one day. (p.s. did that giveaway winner ever get announced?)
Hello! The Cricut can do some amazing things but I haven’t had much success with really intricate and detailed cuts. It’s definitely worth testing out though when you get one! 🙂
Cricket has detail cuts in their files. You just have to watch what paper you use and use the intercut setting. I just cut today a very tiny bow that was less than 1/2 inch on this setting and came out perfect. Cutting machines are wonderful. Just takes time getting used to them and playing with settings.

Happy Mother’s Day!:-)
I’m a new member and joined because my beautiful granddaughter will marry one day – so I’m preparing for her now (with her approval some day, of course). I’m a bit disappointed that files are not in .jpg format so that I can import them into my program. Do you know how I can do the conversion? (ddailey9@comcast.net)
Your work is beautiful and worth the membership… if you’re hesitating, this is better than a soft drink and cookies!
Thank you, Lia, for sharing your beautiful work.
Hi Donna! What program are you uploading your files to?
