Congratulations to all the new and soon-to-be new mamas out there! Having a baby is one of the most exciting times, and also one of the most chaotic. We decided create these adorable iron-on designs that are perfect for baby onesies so that you won’t have to stress about keeping your baby looking fresh and stylish while staying on-budget. Because who has the time to stress about that?!
Our iron-on designs include adorable sun, moon, and rain cloud characters. You may recognize our cute rain cloud from our glittery paper baby mobile that we posted in the wintertime. Now you can make a whole set of baby goodies using the same style and theme!
To make these baby onesies, all you will need is iron-on vinyl and cotton clothing. We used Cricut brand’s iron-on glitter vinyl, but you should also be able to find iron-on vinyl at craft stores or other online sources. If you are cutting by hand, use our PDF file below. The image will already be mirrored for you, so it is ready for printing! If you are using a cutting machine, save and upload our SVG directly onto your machine.
These iron-on designs can be used for so many different things other than baby onesies. Make a sweet matching baby blanket, apron, or towel set! These would also make for an adorable DIY baby shower gift. The sun, moon, and cloud illustrations are especially great because they are gender-neutral. If you like these illustrations, be sure to also check out our safari themed baby onesies! These cute outfits feature the numbers 1-12 to correspond with how many months old your baby is. It makes my heart melt!
I would love to see some babies rocking these stylish outfits out in the world, so send in your photos so I can share them on my Facebook page! Email them in to hello@liagriffith.com, or tag me on Instagram with the hashtag #MadeWithLia. Browse the rest of our baby projects and printables for even more inspiration. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Hello. I am wondering if you sell the onesie that’s already made… I don’t have a printer at home, and it would be much easier for me to buy one 🙂 Thank you!
Hi! I’m so glad you like this but unfortunately we only sell patterns and templates 🙂
How do these stand up to repeated washing? Can you dry them in the dryer?
I’ve had pretty good luck throwing my iron-on projects in the dryer, but they’ll last longer if you hang dry! 🙂
Hi new to this what product do you use for the iron and does it already come glittered want to do this for some of my daughters tshirt but have no idea where to start?
Hi Helen, click the “Shop This Project” link under the photos. It will take you to Cricut’s online shop where you can purchase the iron-on glitter vinyl (they also sell non-glitter). Have fun making this project! 🙂
