There are six pieces included in the PDF downloads below. We chose a lime green, teal, and ocean blue color scheme mixed with black accents for this series of printable dorm room decor. This color scheme is meant to mimic the natural ocean breezes and calming island trees found in the picturesque tropical scene of your dreams! The first download is an inspirational poster that reads “Work Hard Dream Big” with palm leaf graphics. Using our Canon PIXMA iP8720 crafting printer (see Shop this Project below!), we printed this poster onto 11 x 17 white card stock. We have also included it in size 8.5 x 11. This poster can be framed, or simply hung up on a wall near your work desk for daily motivation. The Ocean Avenue pennant should also be printed onto either 11 x 17 or 8.5 x 11 white card stock. The other four printables are smaller in size, and can be printed onto 8.5 x 11 white card stock. These art pieces include a color blocked abstract print, two tile-able prints with black palm leaves against a teal background, and a monogram print. The download includes a monogram in every letter, so choose which one fits with your first or last name!
My hope is that creating an oasis escape will help students center themselves so they can stay fully engaged in their studies. If you are looking for more tropical decor, check out our tropical leaf garland and crepe paper hibiscus, both of which can easily be added to this dorm room decor theme. We are also so honored and excited to say that this dorm room decor set is part of the Canon back-to-school campaign. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for daily doses of craft inspiration, and take a look at our membership options to never miss a post! Lots of Love ~ Lia
