Create Your Own Hobby Horse
You can order the gorgeous felt for your hobby horse from FeltPaperScissors for this project.
The stitching I use is a very basic running stitch, so don’t be put off! It really is very simple to achieve and the results are just gorgeous. Once you have made one, the chances are you won’t stop until you have your very own paddock of felt hobby horses. Another good project for make-believe fun is our felt stick unicorn.
You can find the printable pattern for this project in this post. If you make your own felt hobby horse we would LOVE to see your work. Share it with us across Instagram and Facebook using the #MadeWithLia hashtag. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Lia,
This horse is TOO cute and I know my 2 grandsons age 31/2 and 1 1/2 will just love this and the bridle is a wonderful touch. You are so talented and creative.

Thank you Judy, I’m so glad you like it!!
How do you make the bridle and do you sew it or glue it to the horse after its made, and is it also made with felt.
Hi! I don’t have a pattern for the bridle but just used a fun denim ribbon that I found at the fabric store. I glued it on but you could certainly sew it!
Bonjour,
Je souhaiterais réaliser le cheval bâton pour l’anniversaire de mon fils mais je ne trouve pas le patron à imprimer, pouvez vous me le faire parvenir ?
Merci beaucoup
