Last year, I posted my tutorial and pattern for these adorable felt stick horses. I know a project like this can be daunting for some so we have put together a video tutorial that shows you step by step how to cut, glue, and sew your hobby horse together.

Imaginative play is so important, and we love to encourage it! On our site, you will find lots of adorable felt toys that you can make as well as felt animal stuffies.

Create Your Own Hobby Horse

You can order the gorgeous felt for your hobby horse from FeltPaperScissors for this project.

The stitching I use is a very basic running stitch, so don’t be put off! It really is very simple to achieve and the results are just gorgeous. Once you have made one, the chances are you won’t stop until you have your very own paddock of felt hobby horses. Another good project for make-believe fun is our felt stick unicorn.

You can find the printable pattern for this project in this post. If you make your own felt hobby horse we would LOVE to see your work. Share it with us across Instagram and Facebook using the #MadeWithLia hashtag. Enjoy! ~ Lia
