   I can wait to make these! My favourite flower! I’m in Australia and I am not sure about the thickness of the double sided paper. We have locally available 60, 90 and 180 Italian crepe paper. Not all LG products seem available on local Amazon or shipping is way too expensive. Can I bond 2 sheets of 90 for the finer texture? If so, what would I use to do this?

      You can try their 60 gram. I think that might work better but to be honest, I am not as familiar with the Italian crepe paper as I am with mine. 😉

   I’m looking for the lily that Megan did two years ago that had speckles on it. The coloration on it was so life-like. Does your time including cutting or after the cutting is done?

      We prefer the matte but I have used gloss and honestly, it looks just the same. The crepe will not be glossy.

   Hi – I just made this for a greek mythology project for my granddaughter. I was wondering if there is a tutorial somewhere that shows how to prep the container and what kind of foam to use? I would also like to know if there is a tutorial in step by step instructions for further use so that you do not have to keep referencing the video? I love everything on here. Too much beauty and not enough time.

   I just made these and I used a 1/4″ thick dowel rod instead of stem wires to attach the blooms. It worked great and was the perfect thickness and length for them. It blended well into the bottom of the other stem wires.

   I’ve just made these for our church’s easter display. Because I’m not as good with the glue gun as Megan and you are…I’ve learned that using Model magic works perfectly for the stamen for me (I’ve even used it to make the pistils as well. I get a much more precise circle on the large end of the thick stem wire.

    Hey Lia and team, it would be a huge help if in the list of materials you would say for what part of the flower each material is used for. Example would be “extra fine crepe “(for sepals), “double sided ferns and moss” (for leaves). Additionally, photo tutorial needs to have the same info. This would take a lot of guess work out. I find myself relying on just the photos alone.

    I found you on the Lily tutorial on YouTube and followed a link to download the pdf for that flower but it was the wrong pdf. The right one was linked in the comments. I just got here and I’m already bummed I wasted a download. :’(

    I know this project is from two years ago, but I just made it today for the first time. After printing out all of my petals and seeing how long they are I took a trip to Michaels and found a 16 oz bottle of tacky glue (Aleene’s) that works perfectly for the dipping method. Since the bottle is 7 inches tall it works perfectly for these longer petals. I wanted to share for anyone who prefers this method like I do!

    Can you please tell me which crepe paper color and which side of that crepe paper you use are using to wrap the stems? Is it grren tea or cypress or ferns or moss? Thank you.

       The stems are wrapped with the extra-fine crepe paper, not the double-sided. The thinner paper allows it to stretch and lay smooth on the stem.

    I don’t know how to say this without sounding mushy but Lia you are as beautiful as your flowers. Both inside and out. You just glow. I love your tutorials. You are always happy, positive and reassuring. You absolutely lift me up. Thank you for all you offer. I suggest a live tutorial for each flower. That is the best way for me to learn. I need to SEE each step. And watch you. You make me want to be more positive. Again thank you and your team

    first ty vm for the pattern and vid..just an off question..i want to try the pan pastels but when i check them out there is the option of tint or shade sets..which should i get?..on a (senior) budget..ty for sharing your awesomness during these trying times huggzz

       Hi Gail! If you want to purchase the exact PanPastels we used for this project, we have noted the number of the product so you know exactly if it’s a tint or shade. I just added direct links to each one in the post to make sure it’s very clear 🙂

       They are different designs so if you just want to make a potted tulip (not specifically this Easter Lily variety) then you could use the Master Class template 🙂

    Thank you so much for bringing the flower of hope to us at this time . Crafting will be something tha keeps me sane in these very uncertain times . I am one of the vulnerable and in self Isolation here in UK . Our world will never be the same again but hopr this brings us all closer together . So happy that this is being shared with everyone .
