Crepe Paper Shasta Daisy Video Tutorial
Sunny Side Up
I’m not sure there’s any flower quite as cheerful as a daisy. We captured all that happy energy in this Crepe Paper Shasta Daisy, and we know it’s going to bring a smile to your face. Though daisies can come in a veritable rainbow of colors, the white petals and yellow center of this design are perhaps the most widely known. Also, these sweet little flowers bring such simple, sun-lit beauty to your space, and best of all? We’ve included a video tutorial (released on June 13th) to ensure they come out just right.

This project is appropriate for all makers and a wonderful first step into the world of flower making. And since our video tutorial is here to guide you, you'll have all the support you need to bring these gorgeous Crepe Paper Shasta Daisies to life. For example, we'll show you how to shape and curl your petals, fluff those sunny yellow centers, and assemble your stems to create daisies that'll stay fresh and beautiful for years to come.
With their delicate white crowns, the Shasta daisy is often seen as a symbol of simplicity and purity. Named for the snow-capped peaks of California's Mt. Shasta, these sweet flowers indeed embody the clean, crisp feel of a mountain breeze. It's really no wonder they're a garden favorite, and we hope their bright, positive energy makes them a favorite for you as well.
I love the fresh, clean look of a full bouquet of daisies, but there are just so many ways to display these darling flowers — who could choose? For instance, use your Crepe Paper Shasta Daisies to accent a more colorful arrangement, like these DIY Paper Gerbera Daisies. Or, you could also place a stem or two in a bud vase to bring some sweet rustic charm to a shadowy bookshelf or empty windowsill. Besides, sometimes even the smallest things can shine the brightest light.
So, tune into the Video Tutorial and fill your home with these adorable Crepe Paper Shasta Daisies. We're so excited to see your vision and can't wait to ooh and ah at your creative brilliance. Once your flowers are finally finished, don't forget to post them in our crafters' community or on Instagram with #MadeWithLia!

Back to the TopHi Lia,
I am out of the nectarine heavy crepe paper and it is sold out in your shop. Any suggestions on what can be used in place of it? Any eta on when it will be back in stock?
Thanks,
Laura
We have it on order from Germany, so we hope to receive it soon. In the meantime, you can either get the nectarine from the 10-pack https://feltpaperscissors.com/product/heavy-floristic-crepe-paper-english-garden-collection/ , or use mango.
I can’t find the video? Thanks!
It will be up soon. Stay tuned!
